I'm refreshed and revived! :D
I had a WONDERFUL time worshipping God and talking to Him! (: It's REAL awesome, okayy? harhar!
Okay, I'm reading Deutronomy 13. In this context, it talks about worshiping other Gods. In my contextual sense, it's not literally referring to only Buddhist Gods and all that, but hindrances such as games, computer and internet as weel, that prevent us from growing in God.
Now, verse 3 to 6. Well, from these verses, God may sound like some kind of insecure person that you may not love him as much. BUT NO, for me. I think from these verses alone, a learnt a lot.
God LOVES me. A LOT. That's why He hopes that I could love Him all the same too! That's why He tested me, He wanted to know if I love Him like how He does! And not just that, it says the prophet or dreamer that asked you to worship other God should be put to death. Look, God loves me so much He want to put the ones that will led me astray to death 'cause He knew they were bad for me! Those were the things that will push me away further from God. And yes, they will lead me away from all the perfect things and love I ever wanted. And I WANT TO STAY WITH HIM.
And that reminds me that sometime, we may feel like, "Why is God taking away this and that from me?" Actually, think about it, it just showed how much God loved us. He knew how the things were going to led us astray to the bad, and therefore took them away from us. It's our foolishness to not understand that and blame Him. But He would never punish us even when we blamed Him. How great is He! We blamed Him for doing something good, and He still love us evermore. It's like, He's giving it ALL to us. We just never realized.
Ultimately, everything that God has planned or had done are all out of love. For God is love (1 John 4:8). (:
We just have to realize and understand.
OH MAN! I LOVE GOD!
Okay. I'm going to continue reading the Bible. And I'm going to worship Him again. I don't plan to sleep tonight. (:
